Cozumel is world-renowned for its scuba diving and proximity to numerous top dive sites. Located on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef (the second-largest coral reef system in the world), Cozumel is a perfect spot for turquoise Caribbean waters, white sand beaches, and world-class diving and snorkeling. The Mesoamerican reef system is the second-largest reef system in the world (after the Great Barrier Reef), and there is extensive coral and sea life with incredible visibility.

Cozumel is an exciting tourist destination with two very different sides to the beautiful island. You can access all the modern amenities around its main town of San Miguel and still find so many places on the far side of the island to get away from it all. Cozumel is known for it's plentiful restaurants and shops and being a very safe location for tourists to explore compared to other parts of Mexico. 

The island of Cozumel is located just off the east coast of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula and is directly across the water from Playa Del Carmen. You can fly direct from Toronto to Cozumel Airport weekly or choose a number of daily direct flights to Cancun and take the ferry over to the island. Located in Playa Del Carmen, you can get transport to the ferry terminal and be in Cozumel in about an hour and a half.
